A film studio site with a showreel, a stated process and a small named crew.
Marlow: the still-image edition of the cinematic studio site. A photographic hero with a slow push-in instead of video, serif display type, a work grid with film dialogs, capabilities, process, team and contact.
About this template
Marlow is the restrained of the 2 film studio templates. It reads as a Copenhagen studio with a small crew and a long attention span, and the layout follows that: fewer, larger pieces and a lot of space around them.
The structure is the useful part. 6 films with client, format and duration, then how you work, then what you can actually do, then who does it. That's the order a producer evaluating you reads in, and it's the order most studio sites get wrong by opening with a manifesto.
It's a single page. There are no separate case study pages, so each film has to earn its place in the 6.
Reelhaus is the same structure with a louder treatment and audio on the reel. Look at both before committing, because the difference is tone rather than features.
