Pay for what you build

Credits buy the expensive part — the AI writing and changing your code. The things other platforms bill you for on top of that, we don't meter at all.

No surprises.

The complaint people have about every builder in this category is the same one: you cannot tell what anything will cost until after it has cost it. Here is everything that is never charged for, and everything you see before it happens.

Never charged for, on any plan

  • Hosting your app, and the traffic it serves
  • Its database, and the data your users put in it
  • Your live URL, and publishing to it as often as you like
  • Every collaborator you invite. There are no per-seat fees
  • A build that breaks, a change that fails its checks, or a run that changed nothing

You see it before it happens

  • A credit range and the exact list of files an edit will touch, before it runs. Cancelling costs nothing
  • An approved estimate is a ceiling, not a suggestion. If a job turns out bigger, we stop and ask
  • You are charged for what was actually used, never for the estimate
How our billing works

For teams

Nobody can burn the month.

One person with an ambitious afternoon should not be able to spend the whole team's credits. On the Business plan, everyone gets their own cap out of the shared pool.

A cap per person

Give each member their own limit out of the shared pool. Someone joining on day 20 of a 30-day cycle gets a third of the budget, not a full one.

Your own meter, without asking

Every member can see what they have left at any time. A cap you cannot see is a wall you walk into; a cap you can see is something you plan around.

Ask for more, approved in one click

Out of budget? Request a raise from the screen you hit the limit on. Your admins get it and can approve it without going hunting for a settings page.

Enforce it, or just watch it

Turn enforcement on and members at their limit are blocked until you raise them. Leave it off and budgets are a signal rather than a gate. Your call, per workspace.

The Vorx workspace budgets screen: enforcement on, each member capped at 40 credits a month with a warning at 80 percent, and one member set to a lower per-person cap of 15.
Budgets are set as a sentence, not a settings form. Business plan.

Budgets and spend caps are part of the Business plan. Cost preview, and not paying for failed builds, are on every plan including the free one.

What one credit buys

A credit is one build or edit, priced by how much work it actually is.

1
A styling tweak, wiring up auth, or adding a table
2+
A whole new page, with images
3
A big change across several files

Five land in your account every day, free, and refill overnight.

Frequently asked questions

A credit is one build or edit, priced by how much work it actually is. A styling tweak, wiring up auth, or adding a table runs about one credit. A whole new page with images is two or more, and a big change across several files can run to three.

Five credits every day, up to thirty a month, with no card and no trial clock. They refill overnight, so a free account is something you can keep using rather than something that runs out and stops.

Paid credits do. Unused monthly credits stay usable for two months, and credits you buy as a top-up last a year. Daily free credits do not roll over: they refill the next day instead.

Top up whenever you like, or switch on automatic top-ups with a monthly ceiling you set, so a long session never stops halfway and never surprises you at the end of the month.

No. Invite as many people as you want on any plan, including the free one. You pay for building, not for headcount.

No. Running your app, its database and its live URL are included. There is no separate hosting line item to be surprised by later.

You do. Your code is real, standard code with no proprietary runtime, and on any paid plan you can export the whole repo whenever you want.

Yes. On Pro and above you can publish to custom domains; every plan includes a free vorx.live domain.

Anytime. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your account settings; changes take effect on your next billing cycle.

Yes, on the Business plan. Give each member their own cap out of the shared pool, decide whether hitting it blocks them or just warns them, and approve a raise in one click when someone asks. On Free and Pro there are no per-person caps, but nothing can be spent without you seeing the price first.

You are not charged. A failed run never takes a credit in the first place, so there is nothing to claim back. That covers a build that times out, one that does not compile, one that does not apply, and one that leaves your preview broken.
